The Sales Operations Leadership Council (SOLC) is a peer collaboration organization for Sales Operations leaders within small to mid-tier life science companies. Founded to facilitate the sharing of best practices, industry trends and networking opportunities for its members, the SOLC offers a unique forum for exploring challenges, approaches and solutions to measure and improve sales force and marketing effectiveness.
Serving an Unmet Need: A Note from Founder Gary Warner
More than seven years ago, I brought together a few knowledgeable, experienced sales operations professionals I was fortunate to have met. It was my goal to facilitate the sharing of information amongst peers. I knew it would be valuable to build a network of industry leaders that could be resources for one another—to exchange ideas, share challenges and approaches, and help each other be more successful. The meetings became more frequent, others asked to join, and the SOLC evolved and matured into a forum where members “meet, share and grow.”
Now meeting several times a year and drawing dozens of members, the SOLC is entering an exciting period of growth. We have multiple committees of members in active leadership roles driving the direction of the group.
Today, we are a commercial, fee-based professional organization holding a minimum of three annual meetings and our leadership team is comprised of professionals at the forefront of Sales Operations in the life sciences industry. We hope this membership portal will serve as an invaluable resource to our members.
The SOLC plans to continue our focus on peer collaboration as we add more events to our annual calendar. We’ll consistently update the member portal with valuable resources, such as webinars and online career resources. As the life science industry continues to evolve, so too will the SOLC.
